What is New Creations?

New Creations is for parents of children, from newborn to the end of primary school. We meet on Wednesdays at Holy Trinity Church and the group is run by church members. Each week begins at 10 AM with coffee and cake. An activity then starts at 10:30 AM with an 11:30 AM finish. Grandparents and carers are also very welcome.

To join our WhatsApp group, email New Creations with your number. You can also find us on Facebook.

How does it work?

Each week begins with coffee and cake before starting the main session with an organised activity for parents. Activities range from baking to crafts to hearing speakers talk on relevant and helpful topics. Every week there is a two-minute “thought for the day” given by one of the team.

Children aged 0-4 years old have fun in a crèche and kids group run by volunteers and the HT Kids team staff so the adults can enjoy their session. The older children have free playtime, singing, a story and craft. All the sessions are run by leaders who are DBS checked and HT has a child protection policy in place. You can view HT’s safeguarding policy here.

How to get involved?

The best way to get involved is to come along! We’d also love to add you to our continuing weekly mailing list - please click the button to get in touch.

Interested in exploring the Christian faith?

Looking to exercise your brain in some direction other than the next feed or figuring out a sleeping pattern!? Why not think about joining others on an Alpha Course.

Have you ever tried to read the Bible but found it hard going? An easy way to start is the daily Bible in one year from HTB. If you ever have any questions or prayer requests, one of the New Creations team would love to support you - no question or prayer request is too big, too small or too silly.
