Who we are
HT Youth is home for anyone in Years 7–13. We’re all about having fun together, being a family where everyone can belong, discover faith in Jesus and exploring what the fruit of it all could be in everyday life. We meet on Sundays during the 5.30 service and run lots of events like worship nights, socials, courses, and one-to-one meet ups, too. The best way to get involved with HT Youth is to come along on a Sunday evening! Expect to be greeted by the brilliant team of youth leaders and get introduced to some of the other young people who call HT home. If you’re new and would like to come regularly, there’s an online consent and welcome form below. This info helps us take care of you and will keep you up-to-date with upcoming events.
Sundays
5.30pm | Youth begins
We meet at the back of church and join in with the first few songs of worship at the start of the service.
5.45 pm | Head upstairs for games
Older Youth then head to 9 Market Street, while Younger Youth take over the Henry Martyn Hall (HMH).
6.00pm | Teaching and small groups
Sessions look different from week to week, but almost always start with a passage from the Bible. Often a member of the team will give a short talk on the passage and then we’ll split into smaller groups to discuss what we’ve heard and spend some time chatting and praying with each other.
7.00pm | Youth finishes
Youth finishes and we head down to the Main Church to join the rest of the church family chatting over tea, coffee, squash, and biscuits.
Highlights
ENCOUNTER Nights
Every term, we host a worship night in the Main Church of HT open to all 11–18 year olds in Cambridge. The evening always includes prayer, worship, an amazing talk, games, snacks and – most importantly – space to pray and meet with the Holy Spirit.

DTI
Summer Festival
Every summer, HT Youth go away for five days to a Christian youth festival. These days are full of quality time together, lots of fun, and some brilliant time with God through meetings, worship, and seminars. It is definitely one of the best weeks of the year!

Weekend Away
This is the highlight of the HT Youth calendar. Each year, we spend the weekend outside of Cambridge, with lots of time to build friendships, relax, spend quality time with God, and have loads of fun!

Alpha
Youth
Alpha Youth is a six-week series created by young people for young people, exploring big questions. Join us for a conversation on life, faith, and purpose. HT runs Alpha Youth annually.

Upcoming Socials
Several times each year, the youth leaders organise chances for young people to get together and hang out outside of our regular services.
Big Youth Bash
Friday 26 Sept | 6–8pm
Join us as we kick off the new academic year! We'll have pizza, board games, four-square, spikeball, table tennis, biscuit decorating, and an EPIC inflatable gladiator fighting arena. Bring your friends along!

HT Youth is run by an amazing team who will be wearing red t-shirts on Sundays at the 5.30pm service.
