Adult Ministry Team
Rupert is married to Liz and they have two grown up children who have left home and a Cairn Terrier who hasn’t.
Rupert became Vicar of Holy Trinity in 2003 and his main responsibilities include preaching regularly, leading, encouraging and developing the staff team as well as discerning and developing the vision of Holy Trinity (along with others). Teaching from the Scriptures to enable people to live life to the full is as at the heart of what Rupert does. He loves to equip and envision folk to be lifelong followers of Christ and effective leaders. In 2016 Rupert was appointed Chaplain to the The Queen.
More biographical info; Rupert became a follower of Jesus whilst at Exeter University in 1980. On graduating he was an insurance broker in the City, a career that he left in order to train for ordination at Wycliffe Hall in Oxford. Prior to Cambridge Rupert was Rector of St. Paul’s Church in Salisbury and previously on the staff of St. Aldates’ Church in Oxford and St. Barnabas in Kensington.
In spare time he enjoys photography, watching Test cricket, going to concerts (classical), playing the piano (rustily) walking the dog and Westwing.
Oli is Associate Vicar of Holy Trinity and oversees the adult ministries of the Church (including Pastoral Care, Home groups, Weddings/Funerals etc). Oli makes Church fun and he loves helping people to experience that knowing Jesus and belonging to the family of HT adds sparkle to life! If you are new to HT be sure to say Hi to Oli.
Oli is married to Loïs and they have three children Amélie, Annabelle and Eliza. Prior to being ordained Oli headed up the Youth work at St Aldates Church in Oxford for many years and also New Wine Youth. In July 2015, after training for ordination at Wycliffe Hall in Oxford he joined the staff of HT. Work and family life take up a lot of Oli’s time, given a free moment Oli enjoys spending time with friends, having people over for a meal and watching a good box set with Lois.
Ellie joined the HT staff team as Student Pastor in September 2013 after working for four years as a Youth and Children’s Pastor in Hertfordshire. Prior to this she graduated from the University of Exeter with a degree in Theology.
In her spare time, Ellie loves to spend time with family and friends and, having grown up on the South Coast, enjoys nothing more than a day spent at the beach! Ellie also enjoys running and has run a few half marathons for various charities.
She has a passion to see people’s lives transformed by the living God and loves to see Jesus bringing His love, hope and joy to His children.
Curate and Student Pastor
Stuart heads up the Student ministry at HT. He knows Cambridge well, since, prior to studying theology and getting ordained, he studied Chemistry at Selwyn College and worked in the city for a technical innovation consultancy company. Stuart’s passion is seeing God at work in people’s lives and helping people understand how the Bible connects with and informs everyday life.
Stuart is married to Yanah. In any spare time he enjoys playing sports, especially Super Smash Bros; reading systematic theology; and is an avid cinema goer. He is also a great fan of slow cooking things in barbeques, whatever the season.
Student Pastoral Assistant
Emily began working at HT during summer 2017 after graduating from studying maths at Cambridge. She loved attending the church as a student and is hugely looking forward to caring for both new and returning students. She is excited to see them grow in faith! Emily has seen God’s goodness in her life in so many ways but is thrilled that there is even more to see. One of her loves is singing, and she has been lucky enough to travel widely on various chapel choir tours. She is from Edinburgh and loves all things Scottish, however English she appears!
Student Pastoral Assistant
Tom joined the HT Staff Team in 2017 having been a member of the congregation since 2015 while studying engineering at Cambridge. His time at HT as a student was one of the happiest of his life, and he is hugely excited to serve on the team and love a new generation of students. In his spare time he enjoys reading, playing football, watching (and occasionally playing) rugby and playing cards.
Family ministries / children & youth
Cat is married to Rick and has two children (Izzy 6 and Benji 4) who are now at school so she spends much of her life on the school run and running about after them! Before becoming a Mum Cat was Curate at Holy Trinity with responsibility for children, youth, and students. She is very excited to be returning to the staff team to work with Corinne and Kez to see the children at HT grow in their relationship with Jesus, so that they each know Him and His great love for them, while having loads of fun and making wonderful friends. She also enjoys travelling and is a keen photographer (which her husband and children sometimes find annoying!)
Steve joined the HT staff team in September 2014 after studying Theology at Queens' College. His fairly average life was blown out of the water when he decided to follow Jesus wholeheartedly in Spring 2007, and his subsequent journey has been far too good to regret. Steve likes eating roast lamb and chilling in cafes. He'll always jump at the chance to play or watch sport, especially cricket or rugby. Above all Steve is pumped to hang out with young people – to hear about the stuff they love and the people they care about, and to see how God can be involved in it all.

Hannah’s main hobby is playing cricket, which she has done all her life and absolutely loves. She also enjoys walking, calligraphy and lettering, and coffee!
Iona joined the HT staff team in 2017 after being part of the HT Church family since 2013 while studying French and Spanish at Girton College. She spent 8 months in Nicaragua between 2015 and 2016, volunteering at a children’s centre and supporting families. She is passionate about investing in young people and helping them know God’s love for them. Iona is delighted about the opportunity to serve in this way in her role at HT. She also enjoys singing, hiking up mountains and is a beginner (but avid) surfer.
Ed joined the staff team in 2009 after 3 years studying Politics at Downing College. Along with Angus, he oversees the music and tech team of about 40, and the worship life of HT, as we seek to be “a fountain of praise at the centre of town”. Growing up on the South Coast, his passions are Southampton FC and the sea, as well as travel and good food and drink. He has been married to Emily, who also serves on the worship team, since 2012, and they have a daughter, Imogen.
