What is New Creations?
New Creations is for mums of children newborn to the end of primary school. We meet on Wednesdays at Holy Trinity Church and the group is run by church members. Each week begins at 10am with coffee and cake. An activity then starts at 10.30am with an 11.30am finish.
How does it work?
Each week begins with coffee and cake before starting the main session with an organised activity for the parents. Activities range from baking to crafts to hearing speakers talk on relevant and helpful topics. Every week there is a two minute “thought for the day” given by one of the team.
Children aged 0-4 years old have fun in a crèche and kids group run by volunteers and the HT Kids team staff so the adults can enjoy their session. The older children have free playtime, singing, a story and craft. All the sessions are run by leaders who are DBS checked and HT has a child protection policy in place. You can view HT’s safeguarding policy here.
How to get involved?
The best way to get involved is to come along!
Throughout the year New Creations hosts fun-filled kids and families events and services such as the Light Party, Dad’s Nights and trips to see the trains. For more information about upcoming events, visit the Calendar.

Take a look at the term card to see what’s happening over the next few months.
If you come along to New Creations but haven’t yet tried out a service at HT, there are loads of great groups for children on Sundays!
Interested in exploring the Christian faith?
Maybe you enjoy being a mum but are wondering when you might get to exercise your brain in some direction other than the next feed or sleeping patterns!? Why not think about joining others on an Alpha Course.
Have you ever tried to read the Bible but found it hard going? An easy way to start is the daily Bible in one year from HTB. If you ever have any questions or prayer requests, one of the New Creations team would love to support you - no question or prayer request is too big, too small or too silly.
