Who are HT Youth?
HT Youth is home for anyone in school years 7-13 (ages 11-18) who wants to have a bunch of fun, make a bunch of friends, and spend time getting exploring faith - getting to know God, love God and show God to the world around.
How does it work?
The two youth groups meet on Sundays in school term-time during the evening service between 5:30-7pm. The Younger Youth Group is for those in school years 7-9, and the Older Youth Group is for those in school years 10-13. Both groups meet at HT first (Look out for the youth leaders at the welcome banner when you arrive!) and begin with songs of worship alongside the rest of church. After a couple of songs, the youth groups head out to the Michaelhouse cafe or the Charles Simeon Centre, returning to HT by 7pm.
There are lots of other events happening in the life of HT Youth. Find out more on the Youth Life page.
How to get involved
The best way to get involved with HT Youth is to come along on a Sunday evening! You will be greeted by the brilliant team of youth leaders (click here to see their lovely faces) and introduced to some of the other young people who call HT their home.
For more info, check out the term card here to see what's coming up, and see the Events page.
If you are new to HT Youth and would like to come regularly, there is a permission form at the Youth welcome desk that will enable us to take the best care of you we can, and keep you up-to-date with upcoming events. There is also a weekly youth email containing the latest updates and events from HT Youth. If you would like to receive this email, please contact the church office for a copy.
