Student Socials
We love to just hang out together as students - enjoy each other's company and get to know each other better. We hope to see you at any or all of the events this term:
Break on the Backs
Bring a lunch each Thursday from 1-2pm. If sunny we meet on Queen's Backs. If wet come to the church!
Overnight Punting
On the evening of Thursday 14th June there'll be an overnight punting trip to Grantchester. Look out for further details on the student email and at Risky. Bring warm clothes/food etc. (The student leaflet gives a different date. This one is correct!)
Film Night
Come watch Inception in the Henry Martyn Hall straight after the evening service, on Sunday 20th May.
First year punting
Rescheduled due to weather. Watch this space/Risky announcements for new date after exams.
Linguists' Tea
On Thursday 14th June, 4.30-5.30pm, we'll have a tea for all 2nd and 4th year linguists. It's a chance to share wisdom on how to grow as a Christian during your year abroad.
Undergraduate Student Lunches
Student lunches will be held in the Henry Martyn Hall after the 11:30am service on Sundays for the first three weeks of term. This is a great chance to meet people, de-stress, have some fun, and enjoy some food.
Community Involvement/Social Action
There are now around four Besom projects running each term. If you would like to hear more about when they're happening from the Besom Leaders and have the opportunity to sign up, please email us to be added to the Besom list. Besom projects are a great way to share Jesus' love with people in the community - they usually involve decorating, gardening, cleaning or helping to clear rubbish and are lots of fun! There are also LOTS of other opportunities to get involved with local organisations - check out our Community Involvement page for more details.
