Internationals

If you're coming to Holy Trinity as an international...

...whether student, scholar, aupair or worker...

...whether here for one month or three years...

...whether single or married with children...

...whether learning English or studying philosophy...

we hope you feel welcomed here and quickly feel part of the church family.

Activities for Internationals at Holy Trinity

We encourage all Internationals to get involved in the rest of church life - for example join a Fellowship Group, come along to an InGathering or take part in an Alpha  Course.

We also run lots of activities specifically for Internationals at Holy Trinity.

We often have lunch together on a Sunday after the morning services. As well as a chance to relax with friends and support each other, it is a time to share and explore the Christian faith.

Afternoon Tea

Once a month there is a chance to enjoy an English afternoon tea at the home of John and Jeni Cooper (5 Park Parade). It is a time to meet friends and enjoy a delicious English tea time - lots of tea, sandwiches and cake! This term tea will be at 4.30pm on 8th January, 12th February, 11th March and 8th April.

Activities for Internationals across Cambridge

There are lots of different activities in Cambridge for international students - whether you simply want a safe place to make friends or an opportunity to learn about what it means to be a Christian and to follow Jesus. You can find out more information here.

Jenny Hunter, a member of the Holy Trinity congregation, works with Friends International in Cambridge (a Christian charity which focuses on helping international students). Please feel free to talk to her!

"Being a part of Holy Trinity is a great opportunity for our international friends to deepen their understanding of the Christian faith and to grow in their relationship with Christ, whether that means following Jesus for the first time or continuing to follow him in a new phase of life. We long for everyone to have an opportunity to hear the good news of Jesus Christ and to have a chance to respond."
