Fellowship Groups

The vision for Fellowship Groups is to make it easy for every member of Holy Trinity to belong to a group where people are coming together in a relaxed, informal setting and encouraging one another to grow in the Christian life.

Growing together...

Usually there are around a dozen people in a group and a typical evening includes studying the Bible, worship, prayer and often sharing food together. Cambridge is a remarkably transient city and Holy Trinity is a growing and changing Church. Joining a Fellowship Group is an easy way to feel at home and make friends.

Growing up...

Spiritual progress and maturity doesn't simply happen automatically over time. We have to work at it and put aside time to learn from God's Word and one another. No two groups do exactly the same thing, but all the groups at HT include the five core values from Acts 2:42-47 (The Worship Flow, The Word Grow, The Love Show, The Spirit Glow, The World Know). Throughout the history of the church, Jesus' followers have been meeting together and encouraging one another in this.

Giving out...

If all the above sounds rather cosy, there is a costly side to it all too! We do not meet together just for the fun of it, though it is fun, but also to equip one another to be effective followers of Christ 24/7. Furthermore, Fellowship Groups are at the heart of the life of Holy Trinity, a key part of enabling us to fulfil the ongoing mission of the Church which is to be "a place where people Come to Christ, Learn to Love and Love to Learn".

How do I join a Fellowship Group?

There are many groups meeting all around Cambridge.

If you are an undergraduate we encourage you to join Risky Living - the main student meeting of the week happening on Tuesday nights.

Most of the evening groups for adults meet on a Tuesday night, though with new groups starting up regularly this is becoming more flexible.

Connections is a Fellowship Group for women which meets on Thursday mornings. There are also daytime groups aimed specifically at those in our congregation who are retired - see the Seniors page for more details.

If you are interested in joining a Fellowship Group please let Abby Ringer know - either in person or by Contacting Us.

“A place where I grew deeper in my faith, closer to God and made lasting friendships which continue to inspire me in my faith.”
