Alpha

Alpha is an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed setting over eight thought-provoking weekly sessions, with a day away.

At Holy Trinity we run regular courses that last for 8 weeks within the university term, but are designed for students and non-students alike. 

The next course begins on Wednesday 2nd May 2012 Everyone is welcome to join this course which will run for 8 weeks and includes a Holy Spirit Day Away on Saturday 9th June. Evenings begin with a meal at 7.30pm and finish by 9.30pm.

"I didn't know anyone who was a Christian, so when a work colleague invited me to an Alpha supper I really wasn't sure - part of me was interested in why people go to Church but part of me was very wary.

I found the group discussion about the various Alpha talks each week a really good chance to learn. One of the bits that I personally liked was the fact that I could ask any questions and everyone was interested in them. Considering how reluctant I was to go, I actually found myself looking forward to the Alpha course each week.”
